Cafe Latte

I adore drinking a delicious cafe latte. A latte is a coffee drink made with espresso and steamed milk or soy milk. Variants include replacing the coffee with another drink base such as masala chai, mate or matcha. When used in English, the word is also sometimes spelled latté or lattè.

In Italian the word “latte” means milk. So if you were to go to Italy and order a latte you would receive a cup of milk. According to Wikipedia.org -

What in English-speaking countries is now called a latte is shorthand for “caffelatte” or “caffellatte” (“caffè e latte”), ”coffee and milk” – similar to the French café au lait, the Spanish café con leche, the Portuguese galão, or the flat white.

KAHLUA - Espresso Martini

I just love the sweet coffee notes of the espresso martini and I like the idea of dropping a couple espresso beans in the drink. I think it would also be delicious if those espresso beans were dipped in chocolate. That would be right up my sweet and decadent loving alley!

Since that time I have tried to recreate that delicious day in the sun. I found this video on youtube last year and I love it. The fact that it uses vanilla Stoli vodka had me sold on it. That is hands down my favorite vodka. This video shows us how to make a delicious espresso martini at home that can be enjoyed anytime of day. Well, maybe not anytime of day. Well then again, maybe. I mean it is happy hour somewhere isn’t it?!

Homemade Iced Coffee - Laura Vitale

In this video the host shows us how to make a delicious version of homemade iced coffee. The problem with making it the way of brewing coffee and then cooling it is that then it is way too weak. In this video the host agrees and she does not like the watered down version of iced coffee that so many drink. She likes her version to be stronger, and so do I.

So in the video you will see step by step directions on how to make STRONG and delicious iced coffee. Sounds heavenly to me! I plan on trying her version of iced coffee this weekend. I’m ready for a strong delicious cup of iced coffee!

How to make Blended Iced Coffee like a Starbucks Frappuccino

In this video the host makes a blended iced coffee like you would find at Starbucks. I love going to Starbucks, I know it is either love it or hate it, but I truly hate the lines when going. No matter what location I stop in at, no matter what time of day, there is always a long line at Starbucks. So making it at home is a great idea to me.

So in this video the host shows us how to makes those delicious Starbucks blended iced coffee drinks, right in the comfort of our own homes. A lot simpler, easier and definitely would save some money!

Starbucks Ice Coffee Frappuccino

I love Starbucks. Many coffee elitists refuse to drink Starbucks, but I happen to enjoy it. So many times when I go to the closest Starbucks by my house, it is so busy. The line is out the door and it becomes quite an ordeal to order a drink.

In this video we see how to make a Starbucks Iced Coffee Frappuccino at home. This is quite exciting and rather simple!  The host really gets into the spirit of things and plays peaceful music in the background all the while making the Frappuccino.

White Chocolate Almond Coffee

I love a sweet latte from time to time as a special decadent treat. The host starts by steaming milk, he then adds white chocolate syrup and two shots of almond syrup. He then adds an ounce of espresso. After that he pours in the steamed milk.

The recipe is quite simple and quite delicious! If you like almond this may be the perfect drink for after dinner, a cold winter night, or snuggling up with a good book. Watch the video below and let us know if you have any great latte recipes to share!

Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups of ice
• 1/4 of a cup of Starbucks Coffee
• 1/2 cup of milk
• 2-3 TBS of Dark Chocolate Chips
• 2-3 TBS Dark Chocolate Chips
• Blend all ingredients
• Garnish with whip cream and dark chocolate sauce.
• Enjoy!

Oh gosh, this video makes me want to run out to Starbucks right now and pick one of these up! Chocolate lovers beware!!

Perfect Iced Coffee

One of my favorite iced coffee methods it the one the Pioneer Woman utilizes. She cold brews her coffee to where it is quite strong. After the coffee water has been strained she adds some to ice and adds sweetened condensed milk for a sweet treat. I love the spin on it that makes it like a Vietnamese iced coffee.

This is short video with some perfect iced coffee making tips. I love the idea of making coffee ice cubes! What a brilliant thing to do so that the iced coffee does not become watered down. If you have any tips or tricks, please let us know in the comment section!

Irish Coffee

This video shows the host using Jameson to make her Irish coffee – which is exactly what my husband and I drink! There is nothing better than a Jameson sour or an Irish coffee with Jameson in to enjoy.
